The much-awaited Malayalam thriller ‘Drishyam 3’, starring Mohanlal and directed by Jeethu Joseph, witnessed a drop in collections on its second day at the box office. Despite the decline, the film continues to perform strongly worldwide.
According to Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 collected Rs 11.05 crore net in India on Day 2. The film had earned Rs 15.85 crore net on its opening day, marking a 30.3% drop in collections on Friday.
The film was screened across 4,886 shows on Day 2, compared to 5,506 shows on Day 1. The overall occupancy also dipped from 51.3% on opening day to 44.5% on the second day.
While domestic numbers declined, the overseas market remained solid. Drishyam 3 reportedly collected Rs 20 crore overseas on Day 2, pushing the total overseas gross to Rs 45 crore.
The film’s worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 76.18 crore after just two days in theatres.
Among all versions, the Malayalam version continued to dominate at the box office.

Kerala emerged as the top-performing state with a Day 2 gross collection of Rs 8.85 crore. Karnataka followed with Rs 1.50 crore, while Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 1 crore.
The excitement around Drishyam 3 increased further after Mohanlal joined fans for the first day first show screening.
Several videos from the theatre quickly went viral on social media. One particular clip showed the actor getting emotional while watching the audience reaction inside the packed theatre.
Following the overwhelming response, Mohanlal also shared an emotional Facebook note thanking audiences for their support:
